Amanda Kline, Psy.D has had an extensive career in the mental health field helping children and families. She attended Wheelock College and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and Child Psychology. She furthered studied at Suffolk University, where she was awarded her Psy.D in Child Counseling. She has completed several internships at Boston’s Children Hospital, The Brighton Mental Health Association, and the McLean Hospital.
Her career began at the Italian Home for Children, and then transitioned into becoming an award winning Child Care Director in the private sector. After moving back to New Jersey, she worked as a case worker counseling children diagnosed with cancer and their families.
The approach she believes in is providing compassionate care to children who need it. Her techniques include cognitive, play, and music therapies. She feels she can tailor a treatment to your child’s specific emotions to improve their overall mental health and well being.
